Resvernan Royal Family

From Republic of Texas

Unlike other Royal families, the Regnal House of the ruling family is fluid. The King or Queen of Resvernas, while a member of the curent reigning house, is also the head of the House of Resvernas. All Kings are members of the House of Resvernas, as are their wives and children. In matters where a King's second child has a child, that grandchild is not a member of the House of Resvernas unless the King's first child does not produce any children, and dies. In this situation, as the second child is now heir to the throne, their children are now members of the House of Resvernas. An example of this is when Demago II's first son, Arthur Velaryon was born. He was a member of the House of Resvernas, so his brother, Anson I's children would not have been. Since Arthur died, Anson I became King and as such his children became members of the House of Resvernas instead.

In foreign ceremonies, the Monarch is always denoted as of Resvernas, and never as of their Regnal House.

Kings and Queens of Resvernas

The King of Resvernas is King Grealind II. Upon his ascension he inherited and continued the truncated Royal Style. He is The King Grealind, Second of His Name, Governor of His Dominions and Protector of the River.
